Short forehand or long backhand

The serve and return exercise is a great way to work on anticipation and the 3rd ball shot after serving. A lot of players are more confident at attacking on their forehand side and less so on the backhand, so often players try to keep the ball short in the forehand to avoid a strong attack and push long to the backhand so this drill is a common situation that occurs in match play and is important to get comfortable with.
