Recently while working with players we coach we have found a common problem with the forehand push and this video aims to help people correct this. It focuses on the correct use of the wrist as well as the arm and body position in relation to the ball when playing a forehand push. This shot is slightly more complex than the backhand side and often can be harder for players to get comfortable with. Here we look at why the wrist position is so key in this shot and how you can use it to develop a forehand push with better accuracy and spin.
In this video we include:
– Use of the wrist and position needed
– Common mistakes with the forehand push
– Using the wrist to change direction
