Having effective serves is not only about winning points directly, you need to be able to take advantage of weak returns from your opponent. This bonus video goes into detail on how Par gives himself the best possible chance to play a strong shot after a weak return and ensure a good serve is followed up well. Par demonstrates what signs he looks for and the positions he’s tries to adopt in order to make it difficult for the opponents.
