With the rise of the modern backhand flick and more backhand dominant play in general, switching early down the line has become an important skill to give you the upper hand in rallies. Switching strong wide to the forehand is a great way of getting the opponent out of position. In this video we look at the effectiveness of the early backhand switch and why this is becoming an important and popular tactic in the modern game of table tennis.
