This exercise is very relevant for the modern game and can be easily adapted for all styles of play and skill level. It’s main focus is timing and control but has good movement elements included as well. Many top pro players use this drill and have mentioned to us how useful it is in the past so we want to demonstrate to you this drill so you can add it to your training repertoire and bring more variety to your practice. We also look at how to adapt this drill for defensive players and why it’s an effective exercise for all styles of play. During this exercise you work from 4 points around the table in a square hence making up the “Power box”.
