Yes that’s right I use the Genesis M rubbers 2.0 from Stiga on both sides. I have tried the bew Genesis II as well and it’s also very good, I’m currently still using the original Genesis because for me it suits my game better and I’m very used to it.
Of course it comes down to your style and your preference,the new Genesis II has a more grippy/sticky topsheet more like Chinese style rubbers,although the original Genesis still has fantastic spin. The sponge is the same hardeness on both versions.
Both are great it just depends what you are looking for and your style.
