Hey Martin,
Thanks for the video links, this is great. Really good you are implementing multi ball into your practice too, this will really help with shot development.
Forehand topspin against light backspin
Firstly, I really like your weight transfer, you are using your weight going from your right leg to your left. However, it is going sideways and not forward into the direction of the ball. Also, add more weight onto your right leg before you contact the ball, this will give you more energy and ease as you strike the ball. By bending your right leg more its going to give you more momentum which will make your arm relax more. At the moment your arm is doing a lot of the work. Lets get your legs working effectively.
Backhand opener against light backspin
Similar to the forehand, I think your foundation and base is key here to improving your backhand. You are making good use of your wrist as your strike the ball, but at the moment your arm is doing all the work. Bend your knees more on the backhand and practice connecting your legs and body as your strike the ball.
Could we use this video in our upcoming February release of videos and will do a side by side comparison with a detail explanation on how to improve this for you and the other members here in great detail?
Hope this is okay.
Dan 🙂
