Hey Justin!
Wow love your forehand its got fantastic fundamentals and I can see you’re really working on it in a focussed envirnoment which is great. What I think would rapidally improve the quality of your shot is the following:
1) Slowing down the stroke. At the moment you have a lot of force and speed on impact so your brain is struggling to repeat the correct action and getting ghe right contact. If you slow things right down and focus on the spin of the shot and motion you will greatly improve the consistency and feeling. By improving the consisteny and slowing things down you will naturally find the right timing point and angle of bat. Your technique is great just at the moment your lashing into the ball quite hard, slowing down will help you connect all your body parts to create the energy and speed.
2) Take the ball in front of your body. At the moment your waiting for the ball for to long. Play the shot in front of your body, this will give you the correct consistent timing and impact. At the moment there is to much variation in your timing point so things can breakdown quickly.
I think just focus on these two things for now and then send us an update video in a few weeks. Ideally i want to see you hitting 20 of your forehands in a row. Control over pace is key!
Thanks for submitting the video in, great stuff!
