Hi Najam,
It’s a good question. Playing anti spin and awkward players can be very frustrating. One of the reasons players tend to use these rubbers is to frustrate their opponent. One thing I have found over the years when playing against these players is to slow down and try and enjoy it. Once you slow things down and don’t rush, you can begin to pick your shots cleverly, you will soon break down the anti spin player. And it will also teach you how to play these styles by slowing down.
Another way to get comfortable playing against these type of players is to practice against them in the training hall. Players tend to like to practice with players who are conventional two winged attackers. So when players play in a match they struggle to play players who are awkward as they haven’t practice against this type of style much.
Does this help?
Dan 🙂
