Answer for Grip adjustment

Hey Nick, great to hear you are keen to improve and as you say with practice on the robot and adjusting your technique you will definitely improve consistency.

The grip is important to improvement for sure, I would actually say it’s important not to have a gap between the webbing on your hand and the bat. This makes the grip stable and helps with control especially when blocking so I wouldn’t change that at all.

I think when you get more relaxed with the grip you will find your index finger will naturally drop down slightly, but even if it doesn’t it’s not a big problem at all. As you say I would focus mainly on having a loose and relaxed grip, somewhere in the region of 4 out of 10 for grip power.

The grip that you have here looks good so stick with it and keep up the training, obviously feel free to send us in any footage and we’ll be happy to give you feedback too!
