Hi, yes you can still push these types of serves back it just needs the correct contact and bat angle. You need to make sure you don’t hit right underneath the ball like you would when playing against a backspin. The aim is to hit softly and with a steeper bat angle on the back and slightly around the side of the ball to stop the topspin taking the ball high.
