Answer for training-for-competition

Cheers Tom. My thoughts exactly, I think I rushed to attack and open up his push to middle. He has recently adopted this strategy against me and the 2 wing looper I mentioned before. Funny thing is I told him about the tactics I use against the 2 wing looper which is to keep to middle and he is now adopting that on me 🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂
I will be training and playing practice matches tonight so will focus on tactics I want to achieve rather than letting my mate implement his. It’s very frustrating as I don’t lose many games to him but tue night he went 2-0 up before I had to turn it around and I started getting wound up with things like his lucky shots or my mistakes. I have played with him for years and I’m the last 2 years he hasn’t beaten me in a best of 5 match yet but I get frustrated when I have a close match with him. What winds me up is when he attacks he makes so many unforced errors, his open ups are so inconsistent his entire match tactics is reliant on blocking or me making mistakes. I think my focus tonight will mainly be my fh open up and attack, it’s my last training session before I play at sycamore on Sunday.

cheers guys much appreciated
