I think the most important thing when teaching kids is that they have to find it fun and interesting, so give him little games like trying to reach 10 shots in a row and then 20 and so on. Of course you can give him tips of how to play the strokes or use the Academy videos on here for help on how to show him the correct way.
But he has to enjoy it and be interested to learn then he will be more likely to listen and try to follow advice 🙂
