What’s the main difference of the backhand topspin and the backhand topspin vs backspin? From watching the liam pitchform class, it looks like he’s just a bit lower, is that the main difference?

Yes that’s definitely the main difference as you need to brush up the ball slightly more to get the lift over the net against backspin. Using the legs a body a bit more as well, but Liam in the Masterclass explains this very well. I also feel the wrist is key in the shot to be relaxed and accelerating to help get the spin as well.
