Hey Darion, yeah Ma Long is fantastic at this shot and playing it very aggressive. He does use the wrist and a fair bit but not to early in the shit, he really accelerates the wrist through the contact on the ball to create spin and brush the ball well. But the power and energy in the shot as you said definitely comes from the legs, hips, body and rotation for sure. I do think the wrist is a key part of this shot though still to allow you to generate spin when still playing strong and fast!
