Answer for Balance between training time and fatigue.

Hey Dimitri, firstly this is a great video idea so we will definitely make a video on this topic for sure! I would say it’s somewhere in the middle because if you never get tired at all in a footwork drill then it’s not like a real match where sometimes you will of course be tired and not full of energy. But if you go too hard to physical failure you shots and footwork will break down too much and actually it could cause an injury. I think a good way is do a drill and set a timer, when you start to feel fairly tired but not over the top check the time and see what it is. For example of you have been going 6 minutes then you know next time a good amount of time is around 6 minutes to set an alarm for.

This way you should always be slightly tired but not completely exhausted and unable to move at all, over time as you get fitter and stronger you can build up the amount of time you do. Dan 🙂
