Hey! So of course it is important to be fairly low as this makes the fast movements easier and having a low centre of gravity which helps the balance, but it’s also important tot be comfortable when you play so I think it’s a balance. I think getting low for me I can really feel the difference in my movement, for getting into a short ball and back out for sure it helps. But there is no point being low just for the sake of it, it’s more important to be on your toes and active with your feet, this will also really help your movement.
So I would say keep working on getting stronger legs and staying a little bit lower, but more important is to be on your toes and and springy, ready to move. I hope that makes sense, any questions just let me know. Dan 🙂
