Answer for Blocking drill question

Hey Graham, I think it’s always a good habit to get into if you can to bring the racket into a neutral position between shots as in a match you never know where the next ball will go although of course sometimes certain positions are more likely than others depending on angles etc. Usually if you become good at this you’ll also be able to focus more on the other side of the table and spot earlier where the ball is coming and be ready in that position already instead of neutral.
But yes I definitely think it’s ideal if you can training being back to the neutral position as much as possible! Cheers, Tom
