Hey Hamza, so to do this you need to train drills where you change your distance from the table and your timing changes to get used to playing more at mid distance. So I’d even start off with simple drills like playing forehand topspin close to the table and then gradually dropping back to mid distance and then back in again. Of course the same on the backhand side. Also try starting from mid distance with your topspin shots and then playing a strong or faster one to get back into the table.
Another good way to work on this is playing loop to loop with your opponent so you get used to being mid distance and controlling spin and power. Dan 🙂
