Answer for Video analysis Club match

Hey Casper yeah it worked now! So I watched the video and I do think you’re pretty much right with what you say, a little bit static with he feet and passive, but both are kind of linked together and if you were focusing on control this can definitely happen. I find when my feet are moving well and I’m knackered my toes with energy it really helps me to me more positive with my shots because you just feel a lot more active.
I think there are still a lot of good things in this match but I’ll focus on the stuff I think that will help you improve the most and what to work on. I would say trying to feel your upper and lower body connection when you move and really being active in the legs then means you can stay more relaxed and keep a smoother action in your strokes which will save time and help you transition between backhand and forehand.
For this a good way to practice is lots of basic footwork drills and then building in more irregular drills as you get confidence, but during the drills just focus on active legs and relaxed upper body.
The last thing I noticed that I think will really help you is when playing an open up, so a topspin against a push I think if you engage your legs more and really use the ground to push into the shot it will help you a lot, then with the arm just think about really accelerating from the elbow and getting that whip effect!

Hope this helps and any questions just let me know. Tom 🙂
