Coach CornerMatch playPlacement on my Topspins
Gabriel Kozakevych asked 1 week ago

Hi so generally i am a Player who Likes to Play his topspins with very Sharp placement my Problem is that i am Sometimes unsure where i should place the ball and i know you sad Mostly i should place the ball on the Crossover Point. But i See that my opponent dont make mistakes immediately on it and afterwards he IS playing the ball Sometimes with good Quality Back. My question is here how can i train in my Training to use placement Most effectivly Automatic that i dont have to think about it. Because should i First start in my Sassions If i have Like 40 Minutes using 1 pattern from example playing Backhand topspin into the backhand and middle or its Something that also would Not overload my brain and i can Just use Here all Kind of patterns and also how should i progressive overload These placement patterns every Sassion ?

Hi Gabriel, I think for the moment and not to overload your brain you can focus on placement just in the match type drills where it’s very important. The crossover is a great position but it’s also important not to be predictable with your shots, so practicing mixing up the placement and always looking at where each different opponent has weaknesses.

So you mean i should Just in Matches Focus where o want to place the ball there are No sequences that i should follow for easier Points when IT comes down to placement ?
