Coach CornerMatch playWhat distance is best to use for me as a high table tennis player

Hi my question is generally i heard that its better for me most of the time to be 1 arm lenght away of the table. My question is here 1 Arm lenght Is near to mid distance and should i stay this way on all Long Balls and even half Long Balls that are coming either with topspin or backspin and also No Spin. Because very often i stay Close to the table and hit the ball very early with my topspins but i feel that my Topspins have very much Speed but less Spin because Close to the table i have less time to produce that much weight Transfer on my Topspins. So i Just think that my Default Position should be 1 Arm lenght away from the table for half Long and Long balls and instead Not taking Most of the incoming Balls with early contact because this way i also get jammed faster and i feel that i dont have time to react that fast so mostly i can Not place the ball well and Just Play a topspin in and thats IT. So generally my Default Position should be 1 Arm lenght away from the table and from there i should should Play my Topspins on all half Long Balls and Long Balls because on half Long Balls i can wait Till the coming near my Body. And i think even If i will be slower a little maybe with my topspins from the Speed i think the will have better Spin and also placement possibilitys. So would you suggest me on half Long Balls and Long Balls stay 1 arm lenght away from the table on No Spin, topspin and backspin Balls from my opponent ?
