Hey Oscar! I think changing to long pimples is quite a big change and for a while you would be a bit lower level and it can be very frustrating. I would say the best option for you is to continue with your normal bat, but add in more chopping to your game with this and get very comfortable with it. Otherwise you are kind of changing 2 things at once, your style and the bat. So take time to get comfortable chopping with your current bat and then if you still think that you need to make a change you can think about the long pimples.
If you can chop with normal rubbers it will give you a lot more options and variety as well and you will be used to it for the other shots of course. I hope this helps! Dan 🙂
