Answer for Dealing with dead (float)balls.

Hey Jersba, the best way to deal with a short deal ball is usually a flick or a good positive and aggressive push to get the opponent on the back foot early. When playing against a longer dead ball the contact point should at the top of the bounce to give you the most margin for error and be able to play a positive shot.

It’s important not to put too much topspin on your shot against a really dead ball as it can go off the end easily, so try to brush the ball through in a more forward motion and don’t lift up to much making sure your bat finishes in front of you.
