Answer for flexible-carbon-blade

Hey Dlff,

Sorry to hear you’ve been having elbow and shoulder problems. It is quite difficult to recommend a blade as there are so many and of course I don’t know your style of play and preferences etc. But I’ll list a few which myself and Dan have tried in reviews and have found to be good.

For me personally the best carbon blade I have tried recently is the Stiga dynasty carbon blade which is used by Xu Xin, it has more control and a more wood feeling than some carbon blades but is still very fast so for me has a great balance. The other blade we tried quite recently and I also liked was the Butterfly Harimoto Alc this is possibly slightly more flexible than the dynasty carbon and has a more natural carbon feeling. That is my top 2 right now that I have tried and have a fair opinion on. Also I’ve always found the butterfly innerforce blade series very good and also to me seem quite flexible as well.

If possible of course I would recommend testing and trying a few different ones to see which you like the feeling of best, maybe club mates or friends at your local club or even other players at tournaments. This is the best way to get a real understanding of which blade you will prefer, of course it’s not always possible to try lots of different ones but worth doing if you can.

I hope that’s helpful and any other questions on this just get back to me on here.
