Hi Michael, the no spin shots can be tricky yes. The main thing is to try to brush the ball forward and still go for spin. A lot of people tend to hit the ball to flat and there is not enough safety on the shots. Also being sure to take the ball at the top of the bounce so you have enough margin over the net. Let us know if there are any particular situations this seems to be happening.
