Hey Andreas, I’ve just had a look at the video you sent in. I think a few key things will help you guys improve and cut out mistakes. I think in the open rallies you are both doing pretty well and there were some nice shots and rallies.
It’s more in the serve and return and short game where I think you will see the biggest improvement. I think for both of you trying to look out for the serves that are coming long and play a topspin on them.There were quite a few that ended up coming long but both of you pushed them back and then the other player could get the first attack, so watch out for those.
I also think both you will improve a lot just from slowing down slightly and being a bit more relaxed and then trying to focus on the spin and consistency of your shots, sometimes the rallies got very fast and then both of you got rushed into mistakes. If you can slow down and really think about brushing the ball and going for spin on both sides this will cut out some mistakes for sure.
Also keeping the serves nice and short and the returns low will help you get in your topspin attacks more, I would say for now that’s the main things to focus on. If you need som help with certain shots or anything else in particular, let us know. Dan 🙂
