Hey Casper, It is more difficult with a faster blade and long pimples for sure because the ball tends to fly off quite quickly but you can learn to control it with time. You’ll probably find you need to chop the ball in a more downward action and have a relaxed hand and grip to get maximum control with such a fast blade, but it is possible. You also need to try to have the feeling that you hold the ball on the bat as long as possible so you drag the pimples right across the ball and try to feel you are holing on there longer, this will really help with the control.
