Answer for match-analysis

Hey Hamza, ok so the match against the short pimples I think a lot of it is about taking your time and trying to slow down and cut out the mistakes. Most of the time when you took you time with the push shots and then played a controlled topspin you did well, it was just the ones when you tried to force it a bit early when mistakes happened. So focusing on playing good controlled topspin shots and mixing up the placement of your shots will really help. Also against these type of pimple players they rely on your mistakes, so it’s important to take your time and really focus on consistency and not losing the easy points on pushes and things like that.

For the other match I would say you were tying to play the right way and get your open up shots into play and attack with the first spin, just a few times on the open up it missed off the end or on the return of serve it went long off the end as well.

But if you can work on staying low on your open up topspin against a push or long serve this will make a big difference, also working on the follow up ball after your open up when they block back to close over the ball and keep it down. This is the main area I would say caused the mistakes and where the game was lost. Yoou were doing the right things but just a few mistakes in this area.

Another thing I think will help you is when pushing try to step in low and take the ball early, this will help you keep the ball low and stop it drifting long of the end.

But here’s lots of things you are doing we;;, when you got your open up on with lots of spin he made a lot of mistakes with it, so it’s just getting this consistent and having a good follow up and it will really make a difference I think!

Dan 🙂
