Hey Deep, sorry I missed this follow up but just seen it now. I think you’re absolutely right it’s so important to be able to vary your game and not get stuck one way of playing! Like you say it works 70% of the time but it’s good to be able to change things and serve differently when you need to.
It’s not easy to be brave and try these long serves it will just come with experience and trying to keep telling yourself to be positive and try these things. You will soon get confident using it and picking the right time to use it as well.
When you start to see the long sevres working well and catching people put you just have to think of that as a useful weapon to bring out and it’s better to try it, long term it will help you improve a lot and become unpredictable.
