Hey! Ok I watched his match and I think there are a lot of good things here, the most important thing is that he is trying to play the right way and be positive and get the first topspin attack, even if he misses sometimes this in the long run will help him improve and win more. He just needs to make sure not to rush his shots and get enough topspin on the ball when he has the chance to spin against a push.
Also to get him to start really focusing on where he plays his shots, so trying to hit into the opponents body and then use the angles, his technique is strong and he doesn’t look to tense or nervous playing the game and this is really important. To really improve he needs to keep this relaxed feeling and keep being positive, I can see a lot of good things here and it’s just small details to keep working on and he will start to win these matches.
But to be honest at his age it’s most important he is trying to do the right things than winning at the moment , that will come with time if he continues like this!
