Answer for performance-improvement-plan-ian-le-page

Hi Ian, apologies for the delay in reply, we’ve been away in India doing some filming and it’s been hectic! This is so great to hear such a positive story of your season, how you feel you’ve improved and the successful off season as well!

We’re really happy we’ve been able to play even a small part in helping you along the way and it seems like you’ve got just the right balance of putting int time and working on specific areas of your game that will make a difference but still also having enough time away from table tennis to do other things as you said with family and your other summer sports! 😀

Often you will find with this approach it works best because you have time away to have a break a reset while doing other things and you still keep the passion and enjoyment high when you have some small breaks like this and the drive then work hard and improve when your back at the table!

This plan going forward looks great o me and has a good balance of different things you want to work on and for different reasons:

1) loose weight (general health & wellbeing)
2) increase consistency (table time) and
3) develop B/H techniques (coaching)
Plus …
4) sharpen weapons (robot) and
5) become more match-savvy (tactical analysis)
Bring on the Season 😎

Having the competitive season schedule you put in there as well will help you know which target you are working on at different times so that’s fantastic.

Keep up the great work and let us know if you have any questions or need advice to work on certain areas. we’re always here to help and glad your TT journey is going the direction you’d hoped for so far! All the best.

Dan and Tom 🙂
