Answer for Practice Structure

Hi Starsky,

Ok so for a good structure to a practice session we would generally recommend a short warm up for the strokes, backhand and forehand (About 15 minutes). Then focus on regular footwork drills to work on movement and correct technique (About 30 minutes)

Followed by some irregular drills to improve anticipation and reactions in match play (About 30 minutes) Then the remaining time (About 45 minutes) we suggest focusing on serve and return or match play type drills, this is probably the most important area as the first few balls in a match are often key and.

Of course this is a basic structure to follow and there will be certain specific areas you need more work on than others as well as parts of your game which are strong already. This just gives you an idea of the best use of your time, you can then work around your strengths and weaknesses.

Hope that’s helpful!
