Hey raino_soikkeli, When Par does the kicker serve it’s just a small adjustment from his backhand grip into more towards the normal grip. Myself and Dan have studied his serves closely and think he still does use a slight backhand grip even when doing the kicker serve, this means it is harder for the opponents to read which serve is coming.
So we both feel he starts all the serves with the same backhand grip and then during the serve before contacting the ball he makes a slight change when doing the kicker serve.
