Hi Dan thanks for the reply. Finished training just before u msgd. I could see my errors abs you are absolutely right on certain serves I’m not 100% committed or I’m not follow through properly it’s like a half shot and therefore the spin is reacting and causing the error. Also I tend to make more errors on my fh return of serve especially top and side spin serves so I definitely need to work on it.
I think it may be a good idea to video and ask a coach to kinda pin point what error whether it’s timing or bat angle.
today I kinda had a plan to reduce a bad habit which I have developed which is pushing long balls on my fh. It’s very frustrating as previously I use to be fh dominant but since I have developed my Bh I feel I’m now Bh dominant at least in open ups. Anything remotely long or 3rd ball on Bh I will open up straight away without a thought but on fh I don’t seem to do that. Now I’m not sure if it’s because I’m looking for a Bh open up or if I’m more square on so I’m not in best position to rotate and do a fh open up I don’t know. But today I focussed on minimising fh pushes and also when I open up on fh I go middle rather than to the corners and I had decent success but Mayb not how I would like. I sometimes feel since my Bh has got so much stronger that my fh has got weaker in open ups and I don’t think I’m spinning it enough. Mayb I’m not getting low enough and not using my body and rotation or Mayb my technique on fh has changed since I developed my Bh I have no idea.
im rambling now so apologies!!
