Hey! Yes the harder rubbers are a little bit more difficult to control but they do offer more power and direct speed. They do tend to have more gears and the ball leaves the bat more quickly. In terms of hybrid rubbers, we recently reviewed the Andro C53 rubbers, I would say this along with Dignics 09c are both very good hybrid rubbers. They do need longer swings and more use of the legs and body to generate the same speed as a Euro type rubber for sure.
