Hey Casper, yeah it can be fun to experiment and try new styles. I think if your forehand is already strong and confident then the time would just be spent on getting really comfortable and consistent in backhand chopping as that is key for this style. Also being able to swap from chopping to then moving in and attacking with the forehand will be very important so practicing that as well.R=The best way to start is having someone forehand topspin into the pimples and just working on keeping the backhand chopping going as long as you can and finding the distance where you feel most comfortable and can keep the ball low and generate spin.
It will be good fun for sure but of course take time to get really good at it and bring it into matches but if it’s something you really want to go for there’s no reason you can’t make this swith and develop a new style! Dan 🙂
