Hey! Yes this sounds a lot more correct to me, the arm definitely shouldn’t be too tense because then you won’t have the control and consistency in your shots. The body and legs are very important to give you the stability and power, then the closing of the elbow and accelerating through as you mentioned! Keep going with that method and I’m sure you’ll see improvement, many people focus too much on power from the arm but the arm should be relaxed to add spin and direction. Dan 🙂Â
