Hi, ok firstly I don’t think its as bad as you probably think or feel it is. What I would say to start with is that when training against backspin even when it is quite light you have your ball frequency set very high on the robot there which is quite unrealistic for a game situation abd makes it very difficult, so I would definitely slow down the number of balls by quite a bit. This will give you more time to properly prepare for each shot and nake more use of the legs, dropping the bat lower and using the body in the shot more.
Once you slow things down on the robot, I would say you need to use yojr legs a lot more to bend down and generate yhe spin and power, especially gour right knee needs to sink towards the ground and then push up through the contact to help your body and arm.
Lastly I would say your bat face tends to open up a lot towards the end of the shot, try to keep the bat angle more close and trust the brushing contact with a slightly more forward motion. I think the biggest thing here that will help is slowing down the amount of balls the robot is firing to give more time between each shot. As well as the tips I mentioned above I think you will feel a big difference! Any questions on it let us know 🙂
