Thanks for that Tom. I think the drills you mentioned were exactly the one I intended to work on. The first drill is something I have done recently anyway. I definitely need to work on the second drill of 5th ball on Bh. It’s just in matches whether practice or competitive I tend not to really go with the zip. Otherwise in practice if u saw me doing Bh to Bh u would see it’s perfect fine so something is stopping me playing it in matches. One thing is for sure in matches I’m reaching out away from my body rather than waiting tiny bit and getting timing close to my body right and getting over it. The other thing I noticed is my training partner blocks pretty quick so for me to get pace on my shot don’t need much effort, what I noticed in matches is most people don’t block as quick as my training partner and it’s that extra time I actually have which is causing issues. When it’s blocked quick you just react to it but when it’s a tad slower or when it’s blocked higher to my Bh is where I’m not getting it right.
To the 2 drills you mentioned what other drill would you also recommend me work on mainly for Bh. One drill I was thinking was anywhere to blockers Bh. So blocker can block anywhere and I can only go to his Bh block this way it’s completely random to me?
