I agree totally I think I have noticed on those serves I am little passive and it’s not difficulty of serve it’s in the mind. A pure backspin serve I automatically pounce on but the one with bit side spin action I think I hesitate to b as attacking and end up touch passive.
It’s the opposite with shorter serve. A pure short backspin serve I will generally touch but a backspin side spin short serve I will most likely just automatically click. I think it’s intent and hesitation rather than ability where I make these mistakes. Well at least know what to focus on.
