Hi Dan / Tom,
I’ve been trying to develop a fast cross table serve but am struggling to get the length and speed. I’m not sure where to contact the ball, where to land the ball on the table and how to perform the shot. All of my other serves are with spin or no spin, but I think for variation if I could just get a fast serve in, it would really help my game.

Hi, yes this serve can definitely help you. Have you had a look at our long fast serve video here- https://tabletennisdailyacademy.com/videos/how-to-do-the-long-fast-ace-serve/
This will give you all the technical tips to build the serve. The main things are to contact the ball low and lanf the first bounce on your side close to the white line to get the depth good.
