Hey Oldpath,

Overall again the basic movements here aren’t bad, just a few tweaks needed to make life easier for you and improve the quality of your shots.

First thing to really focus on is the body positioning which is key on this shot, try to keep your body weight leaning forward more, to do this you may need a slightly deeper bend in the knees and when preparing putting your weight more into your right leg and as you hit the ball transfer onto your left to allow you to finish in front. If you look at the moment the movement of your bat is fairly upwards which allows you to get spin but to improve the overall quality the bat needs to brush slightly more forward.

What I really like is the contact in he ball, you aren’t forcing the shot and get a nice touch on each shot creating spin and giving control.

The other area that will help is exaggerating the whipping feeling using the elbow and forearm, this will help generate extra speed and spin. You already use the elbow pretty well just a little extra forward motion as I mentioned will help.

The fundamentals are there just think about these couple of hints and see how you go! Anything else or if you’re not sure about any of the tips just let us know!
