Coach CornerEquipmentHelp with Nittaku fastarc G1 rubber
João Victor Flores asked 4 weeks ago

Hi guys, how are you?
I’ve beem using Fastarc G1 on both sides of my Viscaria, but due to its high and long arc it is really to overshoot the table, Has anyone here been struggling with it? If yes, what did you do to solve it?

If the best option is to change rubber, which one would you recommend for the forehand and backhand??
*ps. I am an intermidiate player.

Hey Joao, we are good thanks! I haven’t tried this rubber myself but I would say it depends how long you’ve been using it for. If you’ve not been using it that long I’d say keep going with it but really work on keeping the bat high and closing the angle on your shots to stop the ball flying long.

If you’ve been using this a while and it’s still happening then maybe it’s worth trying out something which is a bit slower or with a lower arc. Rakza 7 or the soft version could be a good option for you. Or maybe something with a very grippy surfce to help bring the ball back down, like Dignics 09. Let me know if you need more info on any of this. Dan 🙂

Rakza z would be a good option? What is butter in this case, rakza 7 or vega X?
