Coach CornerEquipmentInnerforce layer ZLC v apolonia ZLC
Dipak1974 asked 5 years ago

Hi Guys
just a bit of advice. I saw the review of the apolonia blade have any of you also used the Innerforce layer ZLC as well? I have the Innerforce layer ZLC with tenergy 05 on FH and dignics on BH. A player at my club has same set up on Tiago apolonia ZLC however when using his there appears to be a softer feel. We used the same glue free chack pro. The Innerforce appears to be a little harder. Any reason why this would be as the composition ofboth blades is the same

Hi Dipak,

Quite often even blades with the same composition can feel different, another reason is if a blade is newer it will feel harder and stiffer compared to an older blade which will feel slightly softer and more flex in it.

I have briefly tried the innerforce and felt it is a good blade, as is the Apolonia. Then it just comes down to personal testing and preferences 🙂

Thanks Tom

I have had my blade since April and the rubbers are brand new only put on last wk. My club mate has had his blade since December and his rubbers are about 2 months old so that may be a factor in the different feel I guess. Thank you for your feedback. I am happy with my setup however i do prefer the slightly softer feel of my team mates set up.

No worries at all, yeah I doubt it’s the age of the blades then as they aren’t hugely different, could be more the rubbers as you say. Let the new rubbers on your bat settle in and I’m sure it will be fine.
