Par gerell seems to follow through on both backspin and topspin serve in a up direction like the topspin. One could also follow through in a down direction on both types of serves like the backspin serve with no deception. So you could have an up direction and and down direction follow through on both the topspin and backspin serve. So you got 4 variations for the 2 serves. This could be pretty interesting for the serve receiver?? I wonder if Par Gerell does this?

Hey Maurice that’s absolutely spot on, Par Gerell says he has experimented with multiple variations of the follow through and found the one he demonstrates going up and around the side of the ball creates the best deception. Both do work though as you have mentioned so see what works for you.
