Hey Dan and Tom, I’m really struggling to block these low sidespin topspin shots. Thus happens when the opponent opens up and has sidespin on it. What can I do against these shots? I can’t seem to return them as it curves off very strong.

Hey Hamza! For these shots tmyou really need to angle your bat against the spin to control them. Also having a relaxed grip and a soft contact will really help to stop the ball flying off to the side, make sure you wait for the ball and contact it close to your body and try to just touch the ball very softly. These shots are not easy but with some practice you will be able to block them and control the ball.
