Has anyone tried both rubber sheets? How do they compare?

The Dragon grip is fairly slow but has very good spin and control, but not much spring effect. I haven’t tried the K3 though sadly.

Thanks Dan!

Dan, I had a chance to try Dragon Grip 2.3mm rubber. I agree that it is a very slow rubber, and very heavy rubber, too. Disappointing, to say the least!

I agree, we found it hard to generate speed. I think it would be good for a developing player learning the basics because the control and grip is high.

I’ve seen some advanced players use it with great success, maybe you gotta whip through the ball like people do with hurricane 3

anyway I’m currently have the k3 on my forehand, you might like it more because the base speed is pretty fast, faster than the dragon grip and 09c and you can still get good dwell time and spin, though I felt 09c has more control and it might’ve been lighter as well (my current set up is 206 grams but mainly cuz of the blade and backhand rubber lol). It’s also possible hybrids aren’t suitable for you and you should look into normal tensor rubbers. For me hybrids rubbers can be fast but shouldn’t be too fast, I feel like they should give you more possibilities, control and gears but you need to be able to do a bit more yourself to bring out the power. This is just my opinion though 🙂
