Coach CornerTechniqueswhat-is-the-correct-contact-point-for-a-forehand-flick

Hey Guys,
What is the correct contact point for a forehand flick – I say about one inch below the top edge of the racket. The speed is the highest there and that is required because the forehand flick is a short sharp stroke.

Thanks

Hey Sid,

I agree with what you mentioned above there about the contact point. It does of course depend quite a lot on the spin on the ball, height over the net and all those factors. Bit in general yes you want to hit at the fastest point of the bat abd definitely ab nice short sharp stroke as you said.
