which racket and ball is right for me (between average and beginner)
How do I send the videos (for analysis) Is it from YouTube or from any other platform? It is better for me to send the video in Google Drive, is this possible?
Second, do you think which racket and ball is right for me (between average and beginner)
Thank you
The second question, I did not mean to repeat, but a link, for example, from Amazon or the name of the racquet
And what is the name of your racket?
Hey! Yes the best way is just to post a link to a YouTube video here in coach corner and we will get back to you with any questions or feedback you’d like.
In terms of a racket I would suggest something like a Stiga all round classic with DNA future medium. You can find this blade and rubbers somewhere like Thorntons, here are the links to both the blade and rubbers: https://thorntonstabletennis.co.uk/product/stiga-allround-classic-2/
Any other questions, just give us a shout.
Cheers, Tom
What do you think about this and what is the name of the racket you use?

I am 12 years old and my brother is 8. We want to learn. I used to play since I was young, but not in a professional way. Now my brother and I have decided to learn from your wonderful academy. Can you tell us what the order I relied on? I mean arranging the videos because I am confused. I do not know where to start. Now I am learning the basics, but I am also confused. I do not know I start from which video and where I will end and I think to myself: Should I neglect the rest of the things? I wish to clarify, secondly, what ball you think is suitable for us and also not expensive.
My brother and I are grateful for your wonderful academy
Sorry by mistake, I sent it twiceπ₯²
Hey, no problem. I would always recommend a proper bat as opposed to a pre made bat but the one in the link will be fine to get you started and learning the basics.
I would focus right now just in the basic videos only to begin with. Within the basics section there is no real specific order that you need to follow so just make your way through the basics section π
For balls I would recommend dhs, as they are good value and not bad quality. We’re glad you are enjoying the Academy so far!
Thank you very much
When I searched for rackets, I saw that there is an assessment of speed, rotation and control, but what is mean by control? does it mean that when you play the ball is under control, because I see a racket with a speed of 88 and rotation is 83, but the control is 50, so what do you think of this, of course, the rating of this racket is 4 stars.
It good to learn?
https://www.sportisimo.com/stiga/procyon/198226/
Control is just basically how easy the speed of the bat is to handle, so the higher control is best for learning the basics really. Most important in the early stages if development in the sport are the control and spin, having a high speed isn’t important and can actually make it harder for you.
Control from any number to 99 is good, I mean, for example (from 80 is good to 99) or something similar
Do I neglect the training exercises, fitness, psychological or service and receive, or just focus on the basics?
Yes exactly anything higher than 80 will be great, for now I would I focus on the basics for sure. Some of the training exercises will give you ideas for how to practice but I would leave the other areas for now until you have the basics right π
Thank you very much πππ
